Discrimination means treating a person differently, based on the group, class or category to which the person is seen to belong.
This may include: colour, race, disability, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, nationality, appearance etc.
Discrimination laws and policies exist in every country. If you feel that you or someone you know is being discriminated against for any reason, you should report it! Either here anonymously - through the SHARP system, or to a teacher or to a family member who may be able to support.
